The book of the diogenial weeks

🇬🇧 🇺🇸 This book is the delicious fruit of the collaboration between a dozen humans and an artificial intelligence trained on the corpus of fragments of ancient Cynic philosophy. Of the ten or so books by Diogenes, none have survived. The politically incorrect richness of Cynic thought has been erased by later conformists, and I weigh my words carefully. Artificial intelligence has tried to transpose their point of view on modern subjects. We wanted to keep the spirit of their ideas: simplicity and parsimony of answers, laconic… in the manner of the Laconians, those Spartans whom Diogenes esteemed. One question a week for a year, to criticise standards, isn’t that much.
